Although some countries have begun to put an end to widespread lockdowns, other places around the world, particularly where vaccination rates are still low, are having to continue with home-schooling, work-from-home set-ups, Zoom meetings and heightened restrictions. It’s no wonder people are dreaming of
KC Concepcion

Health and wellness were trending well before Covid-19 came along, and what we’ve collectively been living through is surely
“My body and mind were craving for Mother Nature after 100 days of solo isolation in my condo. My villa comes with a pool filled with water coming from a natural spring! Just untouched water found deep within the property of @thefarmatsanbenito … The dogs get to swim for the first time, I hear birds chirping everywhere, and huge snails are taking their sweet time too,” said the 36-year-old actress on her Instagram account.

The daughter of veteran actors Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion, KC stayed at the 48-hectare resort for over a month and brought along her two fur-babies, Churro and Chica. The actress basked in all that the resort had to offer, from long walks in the woods to praying under the 300-year-old mango tree. She was also able to walk around mask-free in a sanctuary just 90 minutes away from the city.

After relishing some vegan meals, the actress learned how to pick vegetables and cook them. She also pampered herself with wellness treatments and even IV drips to help boost the immune system.
A night’s stay at one of The Farm’s villas can cost anywhere between US$500 to US$1,000, so this extended stay was quite the splurge.
Team Kramer

Amanpulo is a luxurious private island resort on Pamalican Island in Palawan. This sanctuary has previously played host to several A-listers, including Brad Pitt, Madonna, Beyoncé and Bill Gates. Recently, social media’s well-loved family Team Kramer visited the island to celebrate the 38th birthday of husband and father, Doug Kramer.
The family spent quality time together, enjoying various activities out on the water. One of their Instagram captions read: “Snippets from today’s birthday adventure! Started out with a sunny day! Went snorkelling with fishes and eventually saw a huge turtle! The kids were so ecstatic to swim and be beside the marine life! We eventually went to the edge of the island to the sandbar! Then it started to rain and we still continued to swim and enjoy God’s beautiful paradise here! Heart is full! ️ Thank you @amanpulo for a wonderful blessed birthday!”
Solenn Heussaff and Nico Bolzico

When you spend a lot of time working, the joy of being able to kick back, relax and – perhaps most importantly – not have anyone bother you, is pure bliss. Away from the hustle and bustle of city life, Palawan also served as the getaway of choice for celebrity duo Solenn Heussaff and Nico Bolzico, and their one-year-old daughter Thylane.

Joining them on their holiday were Solenn’s brother Erwan Heussaff, his wife Anne Curtis and their daughter Dahlia. In a vlog uploaded by Solenn, she showed us glimpses of their holiday as well as adorable moments where cousins Thylane and Dahlia were inseparable.
The star shared her experience all the way from flying aboard a private seaplane with Airtrav to a quick tour of their villa at the Sunlight Ecotourism Island Resort in Coron. We also saw snippets of their underwater free diving videos. As well as taking a family holiday, they were also at the resort to celebrate the civil wedding of friends Jess Wilson and Moritz Gastl.
